These are the rules for using Tim Movies. By playing, and especially by creating an account, you accept them. If you do not, the honest thing is not to use the game.
Tim Movies is the film guesser: three films a day, guessed letter by letter. Playing is free and needs no account, and so is On-Demand, where every past round stays playable. An account does one thing: it saves your progress across devices.
- You need to be at least 13 years old.
- Use a real email address you control — it is the only way to get back in if you forget your password.
- Your password is yours to look after. Do not reuse a password from another site.
- One account per person. Do not use anyone else's.
The movie data comes from Wikidata and Wikipedia, used under their free licences. Tim Movies is not endorsed or certified by either of them.
Posters, photographs, movie titles and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are shown only to identify the films being played. If you hold rights over something shown here and want it removed, write to [email protected] and it will be taken down.
The design, the code and the look of Tim Movies are ours. You are welcome to share your results and link to the game; you are not welcome to copy it wholesale and pass it off as your own.
Tim Movies is offered as it is. It may be unavailable, it may lose data, and it may change or close. We do our best, but we do not promise it will always work, and we are not liable for any loss that comes from using it or from not being able to use it. Your saved progress is a game score, not something to rely on.
You can delete your account whenever you want, from the account menu. We may close an account that abuses the service or these rules.
Playing is free and there is nothing to buy right now. There was a paid subscription and it may come back; if it does, the price will be the one shown at checkout before you confirm anything, and the rules below are the ones that will apply.
It renews every month until you cancel, and you can cancel whenever you want, with no notice period. You keep what you paid for until the end of the month you already paid. If the price ever changes, you will be told before it applies to you, and you can leave instead.
Payments are handled by Paddle, who is the seller of record: they take the payment, issue the invoice and appear on your statement. Their terms cover the purchase itself.
These terms may change; the date at the top says when they last did.
Tim Movies is run from Argentina by Julian Dalla Bella. These terms are governed by Argentine law, and disputes go to the courts of the City of Buenos Aires.
That does not take anything away from you. If you are a consumer, you keep every protection that the law of the country where you live gives you and that cannot be waived by an agreement, and you can bring a claim before your local courts. Wherever your local consumer law says something different from these terms, your local law wins.
